In Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS, Tokyo Tech students will visit one of the ASEAN contries and conduct activities together with students from Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam as follows.
-Visit local domestic industry and Japanese companies, government organizations, universities, research institutes and JICA projects.
-Learn through presentations and interviews how investment affects society and industry.
-See relations between industries “with your own eyes” and discuss observations with students from other countries.
-Experience the dynamism of growth in Thailand.
-Observe various aspects of society through visits to different types of organizations.


Tokyo Tech-AYSEAS is a joint study program for students from member universities in Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam. Through discussion and communication with students with different backgrounds, participants have the opportunity to learn about the dynamism of rapidly growing Asian countries, including technology and industry, education and governance.


11-day study visit to Vietnam (August 29 - September 8, 2018)
(1) Visit: Local and Japanese companies, government organizations, educational institutions, research institutes, etc.
(2) Discussion: The participants will separate into several groups to exchange opinions.
(3) Presentation: Each group will prepare a presentation after discussion.

- Cultural difference and understanding on different culture
- Development of energy resources and protection of environment
- Economic growth and gap between the rich and the poor
- Motorization and traffic jam
- Innovation and regional/global competition
